Sani Dangote and his siblings killed in rival clash

A notorious bandit and kingpin known to be operating around Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Sani Dangote, has been killed following a deadly rival clash.

It has been reported that Dangote was killed along with his two brothers and some of his fighters by a notorious Dankarami in the Dumburum Forest of the area.

In an interview with Channels Television on Monday, April 8, 2024, a top security intelligence said the fight broke when Dakarami switched some cows belonging to Sani Dangote.

According to reports, the fight began around 2pm on Sunday and lasted till about 6 pm, which resulted in the death of several bandits.

A source said; “Dankarami rustled cows belonging to Sani Dangote. That was the cause of the fight between the two bandits’ leaders, but Dankarami killed Dangote and his two brothers. The fight started at about 2 pm till around 6 pm.”

It was earlier reported that some bandits were killed due to a heavy battle between two bandit groups in Dajin Haja, a forest between Hayin Alhaji and Munhaye forest of the Tsafe Local Government Area in Zamfara State.

The fight happened after a group of bandits from neighbouring Kastina State invaded some communities in Zamfara State with 41 motorcycles to kidnap some residents.

However, a notorious bandit’s kingpin Ado Alero intervened and prevented the rival bandits from kidnapping the residents.
