She said she was accused of hiding COVID-19 palliatives meant for the poor
Going further, she emphasised that she carried out her duties diligently
Hajiya Sadiya Umar-Faruk says she has forgiven those who accused her of hiding COVID-19 palliatives meant for the poor.
The minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development disclosed this to journalist in Gusau
She said she was aware that many people made various allegations and accusations against her and the ministry, criticising the way the federal government palliatives were distributed.
She said:

Recall that at the height of the coronavirus pandemic, Sadiya Umar Farouq, the minister of humanitarian affairs, was criticised by many Nigerians for saying COVID-19 palliative was distributed to states across Nigeria.
Many accused the minister of being economic with the truth, saying they did not benefit from the gesture.
