Serbian club, Partizan Belgrade are set to receive a fee of €5m from UD Almeria following Sadiq Umar's La Liga debut, as per sportal.blic.

The 25-year-old striker was in action on the opening day of the 2022/2023 season when the newly promoted side welcomed Spanish and European champions Real Madrid.

Sadiq's side lost by 2-1 to the reigning La Liga champions. The forward saw 71 minutes of action.

The ex-Roma striker managed two shots (one on target) and 70 percent of pass accuracy.

Sadiq joined the Andalusians from Partizan in 2020 for an initial €9m plus add-ons.

His value has doubled since joining the club after a string of impressive performances.

According to the Serbian publication, Partizan will receive €500,000 as part of the terms of the contract that saw the lanky switch from Serbia to Spain.

The club is also entitled to a 10 percent fee for any future sale of the player.

“Last Sunday, in the first round, for example, Almeria, for which Sadiq is now playing, and Real Madrid met.

“It was the 75th match in Almeria in which the Nigerian played no less than half time, thereby activating the second bonus agreed between the Spanish club and the club from Humska.

“Originally, the black and whites earned €3,000,000, when Almeria was placed in Primera, and yesterday brought them another €500,000.

“In addition, according to the contract, ten percent of further sales remain for them until the end of the transition period.

“So far, Partizan has earned €9,500,000 from Sadiq. The amount of €5,500,000 was paid to them during the transfer of the Nigerian to the Spanish club, in the name of compensation from the sale of 50 percent of the economic rights to the player, but it turned out that the bonuses almost doubled the earnings.”

Sadiq was Almeria's best performer last season, he scored 18 goals and provided 12 to guide Rubi's side back to the Spanish topflight.
