The organizers of the TV reality show, Big Brother Naija, have confirmed the sad passing of one of its crew members, Ayotunde Elegbede.

Ayotunde's death was publicly announced on Sunday during the live eviction show hosted by the show's renowned host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

Ebuka announced that the organisers of BBNaija Season 10 had been informed by Elegbede’s family of his passing.

The sad news came shortly after the season’s first two evictions. Danboskid was the first housemate to leave the show, receiving a warm hug from his close friend Zita before the housemates sent him off with a cheerful “three gbosa for Danboskid.”

Ibifubara followed as the second eviction of the night.

Voting charts displayed after the show revealed that Denari narrowly escaped eviction this week.
