Tottenham manager, Jose Mourinho has expressed how sad Christmas was for him because he lost his dog.

The Portuguese disclosed this during a press interview ahead of his side's game against Brighton on Boxing Day.

When asked about his Christmas, Mourinho replied: "To be honest, it was very sad because my dog died and my dog is my family."

Mourinho's dog is believed to have been a Yorkshire Terrier.
