Rufai Oseni fires Reno Omokri, sends strong message

Journalist Rufai Oseni has finally broken his silence after Reno Omokri made some damning allegations against his person.

Recall that in a series of posts shared on social media, the former presidential aide, Reno Omokri accused Oseni of being in bed with Peter Obi, the 2023 flagbearer of the Labour Party.

He claimed Obi gave Oseni money for his mother’s burial and as a result of that, he became a staunch support of the former Anambra state Governor.

Omokri also shared a short phone conversation between Oseni and his brother where he claimed the journalist threatened his life.

On his Twitter page, the PDP chieftain accused Oseni of using the Arise Television Morning show where he is a co-anchor to spread false information that President Tinubu didn’t attend Chicago State University.

Reacting to all the allegations, Rufai Oseni clapped back at Reno Omokri.

Taking to his X page, Oseni demanded Omokri to provide evidence of his allegations.

He also warned him to desist from making any further accusations against his person.

Oseni wrote: “A million blackmail and lies can’t pull me down. I will keep doing my job and triumph over any hate. All the hateful words can’t stop me. I will continue to deliver and work to ensure my country is better. I don’t give attention to liars and blackmailers from dysfunctional family homes that we know all about them. We will not talk because if I talk then the table go break. I am resolute and I stick to the facts everyone despite their doctored videos and lying claims. If I tell them to produce evidence they will become stone cold, I have heard their lies and a day will come that the truth will be revealed. The truth will triumph and lies will be defeated. I don’t give in to social media sensation, I am a man of facts always! My records are there, I don’t assume false identities to lie!”

“Going to pay a newspaper to write untruths about me wouldn’t save you, we know how you claimed to me on a phone it is easy to bribe newspapers. I have started talking to the newspapers. I must state I didn’t record the conversation on that day. But words were spoken on the phone. Maybe with liars we should have recorded evidence.

“Also release facts that shows that your parents feed me and helped my family. Also provide evidence on how your mother fed me.I have been quiet for months but these lies have to stop.

“All I asked was for you to give evidence of you visit to Chicago then you started a lying binge!

“You went to my boss to intervene after my video last year and my boss brokered peace after you were threatening to blackmail me, you then went on social media to say I called to apologize to you. Despite all I said nothing, you kept on blackmailing me with a conversation with your brother that called me and recorded me and had been begging for my forgiveness since you couldn’t still play the full audio because you want to blackmail, I didn’t say anything, then you start to lie that your mother raised me—This is sad.”
