'Road to deliver our mandate' - Obidients back Peter Obi's decision to proceed to presidential elections tribunal

Supporters of the Labour Party, presidential candidate, Peter Obi have applauded the move by their principal to proceed to the presidential elections tribunal.

Obi, on Tuesday, March 18 formally filed his petition to the elections tribunal to protest the outcome of the February 25 poll.

This was made known to Nigerians by the Chief Spokesperson of the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Yunusa Tanko in a statement.

The statement read, “It is official the Labor Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has filed his petition to the presidential elections tribunal in Abuja. The process of reclaiming the people’s mandate has started.”

Obi’s petition is coming four weeks after the contentious presidential and National Assembly elections that produced the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Obi's decision has generated some reactions on social media.

That's only when Obi's case can be considered cos anything short, the petition na dust bin materials"
