A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Joe Igbokwe, has advised former governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour, to ignor his govenrorship ambition.
Rhodes-Vivour contested in 2023 on the platform of the Labour Party but lost to incumbent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
He has since dumped LP to pitch his tent with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), with hopes of contesting for govenror in Lagos come 2027.
However, Igbokwe is of the opinion that Rhodes-Vivour needs to start his political career from local government level.
He shared on Facebook, "I will honestly advise Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour to start his political ambition in Lagos from the Local Government. Presiding over Lagos is not a job for the boys."
