Turkish reporter Ali Naci Küçük has shared reasons why Ademola Lookman’s proposed move to Galatasaray may fall through.
The Istanbul-based club has been linked with a move for the reigning African Footballer of the Year following his fallout with Atalanta in the summer.
According to Küçük, La Dea are holding out for a staggering €60 million for the 28-year-old.
He added that the Super Eagles forward is also asking for an annual wage of €9 million.
The Galatasaray reporter made this disclosure while speaking on Sky Sport’s YouTube channel.
“A transfer for Ademola Lookman is out of the question. Atalanta’s asking price for Lookman is €60 million,” Küçük said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“The player’s asking price is €9 million per year. Galatasaray paid those prices for Victor Osimhen.
“So, he won’t be able to come. A transfer for Lookman to Galatasaray is unlikely.”
Should the move go through, Lookman will team up with his Super Eagles counterpart Victor Osimhen.
