Reps reject Bauchi as oil-producing state

The Federal Government's attempt to include Bauchi as an oil-producing state has been shut down by lawmakers in the lower chamber.

The motion which was voted on was voted against by a greater number of lawmakers.

It was sponsored by Yakubu Abdullahi.
