Rented crowd - 'Excited' Nigerians troop out to greet President Tinubu amid cry of suffering

A large crowd was seen gathered to greet President Bola Tinubu after performing his Friday prayers at the Lagos Central Mosque on December 29.

In a video making rounds, the residents who were thrilled at the sight of President Tinubu hailed him amid loud cheers.

As Tinubu departed from the mosque and made way to his vehicle, the large crowd began to chant "Jagaban".

The President in return, waved at the residents to acknowledge their greetings.

However, as the video went viral, some netizens did not hesitate to react. Expressing their displeasure at the economy of the country, many believe the crowd gathered to greet Tinubu was rented.

Others wondered why the residents were hailing him despite their cry of suffering since he assumed leadership.
