Remains of Herbert Wigwe, wife, son arrive in hometown, burial slated for March 9

Remains of billionaire business mogul, Dr Herbert Wigwe, his wife and son have arrived at his home town Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State for burial.

As the bodies arrived on the streets of Port Harcourt, several residents all dressed in black trooped out to bid the late businessman goodbye.

The burial is set to take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, with thousands of foreign guests expected to pay their last respects to this rare gem, Wigwe.

On February 9, 2024, Access Holdings CEO Herbert Wigwe and family perished in a helicopter crash in the United States.

The former CEO of the Nigeria Stock Exchange who was also on the chopper with the Access Bank CEO, lost his life.
