Remaining 26 days - Shehu Sani reminds govt of its promise to commence manufacturing of airplanes by 2023

Former Senator, Shehu Sani has reminded the former aviation minister, Hadi Sirika of his promise to commence the manufacturing of airplanes in the country by 2023.

Recall that on August 25, 2021, Hadi Sirika announced that Nigeria will commence the manufacturing of aeroplanes before the end of 2023.

Sirika disclosed this in a statement after he paid an inspection visit to the Magnus Aircraft Industry in Pogany, Hungary.

He said, “If we venture with them, we may start with assembling plant and later manufacturing.”

As the year is coming to an end, Shehu Sani took to his X page to remind the Aviation Minister of his promise to the country as it is left with 26 days to enter a new year.

This has since attracted several comments from Nigerians who trooped to his comment section to share their thoughts.
