Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa has warned the federal government to release Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra from DSS custody or the country will continue to burn.

Ekpa made this known in a post shared on X(formerly Twitter) on Friday, December 1.

“Just release him or Nigeria will continue to burn,” he wrote.

On June 29, 2021, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and charged with treason, terrorism and illegal possession of firearms following his extradition from Kenya, after being intercepted in the East African country on June 26, 2021, by Interpol.

Expressing his displeasure, Ekpa noted that prior to their plan to defeat him, the government had devised plans to kidnap Kanu which they succeeded.

However, they are currently begging for Kanu’s release in an attempt to stop him from liberating Biafra and the people of the South East.

“Before now, it was all about how to kidnap Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to stop Biafra agitation, they connived with the Northern group, put a bounty on his head and they succeeded in kidnapping him.

Lai Mohammed and all of them bragged how they’ve destroyed and defeated Biafra agitation.

Today, they are begging for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu release to stop Simon Ekpa. They say, release so that he can stop Simon Ekpa from liberating Biafra.
What type of confused people are these?”

The Finland-based Biafra agitator has been known for his call for freedom of the Biafrans. He instituted the sit-at-home order which has caused mixed reactions among the leaders and residents of the South East.

Many raise complains over the negative effects of the sit-at-home on their businesses and livelihood.
