After a torrid start to life at the Bernabeu, things are beginning to reshape for former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard.

The Belgian performed well tonight as Real Madrid secured a 3-1 win over Eibar to stay two points behind Barcelona after.

In their first game in three months following the coronavirus suspension, Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo all scored in the opening 45 minutes.

Brazilian defender Marcelo marked his 37th-minute goal by taking a knee and raising a fist in sympathy with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Hazard, playing for the first time since February after undergoing ankle surgery in March, got an assist for Sergio Ramos which sent Real Madrid fans into meltdown as Los Blancos went 2-0 up against Eibar in La Liga. The former Chelsea man squared the ball instead of shooting himself to make sure the chance was converted.

With barely any time for Éibar to catch their breath, the third goal came with 37 minutes gone. Hazard weaved his way into the box and tested Dmitrovic, whose save fell at the boots of Marcelo, and the Brazilian all but put the game to bed with a left-footed strike across goal.

Vinicius replaced Hazard in the 61st minute and the latter was spotted with an ice pack on the bench after being caught early in the match.
