So far, 50 babies have been born during the ongoing 2025 RCCG convention happening at the campground in Mowe, Ogun state.
The convention ground, which is an entire community of its own, witnesses a large number of births during gatherings.
According to Pastor E.A. Adeboye, who made the announcement during a sermon, an additional 17 children were born on the third day, bringing the number to 50.
He said:
"Additional 17 children have been born. 14 boys, and 3 girls. So now, we have a total of 50 babies, 34 boys, 16 girls."
The cheering news was met with clapping and joyful noise from the crowd in the auditorium. "Something tells me this is going to be one convention you won't forget." Speaking further on his sermon, the man of God stated the need for preparation and training. He also said how one sees one's self matters.
He said: "You cannot win if you don't train your eyes to look at the right things and to perceive. You see, to a large extent, victory depends on not what you see but how you see it. In the story that I mentioned just now in Numbers chapter 13, from verse 27 to 33, you compare it to Numbers 14 from verse 6 to 9, the 10 spies said, compared to the people there, we saw ourselves as grasshoppers. That's what 10 of them said. One saw themselves as grasshoppers, one saw themselves as overcomers. How do you see yourself? Are you a grasshopper, are you an overcomer?"
"When the Lord brought us here, 1983 after he had promised me, son, don't ask me for a house, I have decided to build you a city; this place was the headquarters of highway robbers and very big pythons. Nobody wanted this place. But then God brought me here and said son that is the city that I promised you. Everybody passing by, they thought it is foolishness to even want to even have a farm here."
The man of God said that despite the bush at the camp back then, he saw a city the way God showed him.
