"Qualifying for FIFA World Cup is our birthright" - Mutiu Adepoju

Super Eagles' legend, Mutiu Adepoju has said that FIFA World Cup qualification as Nigeria's birthright.

Reacting to the Qatar 2020 World Cup qualification draws for Africa held yesterday, Adepoju believes that the Super Eagles will stroll past their fellow group opponents.

MyNigeria.com reported on Tuesday that Nigeria was paired alongside CAR, Cape Verde and Liberia in group c.

He released a statement on Twitter, stating that it is "a favourable draw" for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Adepoju also sounded a note of warning to the Eagles, he said "no room for complacency."

Winners of each of the 10 groups will qualify to the third round, where they will be drawn into five home-and-away ties. The winners of each tie will then advance to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar
