Quaden Bayles'mother speak on his real age, scamming people

Quaden Bayles' mother has reacted to rumours claiming a video of him crying is fake and aimed at scamming people.

Yarranka Bayles recorded her son crying and complaining that he wants to take his life because he's tired of being bullied by other kids as a 9-year old.

“Give me a knife – I want to kill myself” “I just want to die right now”, he said.

Immediately the video went viral on social media, a fundraiser was started in his name and over $US392,000 was raised.

However, some quarters doubted Quaden's age and also claimed the video was recorded to scam people.

Reacting to the claims, his mother shared a post written by a writer from Denver who claims to have known Quaden long before he blew up on social media.

“Ima (sic) say this once and that’s that. I’ve know about Quaden since before this s**t blew up. Yes, he’s 9! Dwarfism is not a joke, is he a model or actor? “ … so are a lot of kids … That doesn’t mean s**t!” “His mother made the post because she was overwhelmed and enraged with the bullying. He wanted to turn Quaden’s frown upside down and created the GoFund me account to take the Australian boy to Disneyland. Now that was his doing.
