Qatar Airways offers healthcare workers free flight tickets

Qatar Airways has offered healthcare workers complimentary return tickets to anywhere on their network from May 12th through May 18th 2020.

Up to 100,000 tickets are up for grabs for the healthcare professionals.

According to the airline, this is an avenue of celebrating International Nurses Day with the heroes at the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic.

They would receive two complimentary return Economy Class tickets for themselves and their spouses as well as a well-deserved holiday to a destination of their choice within the firm's network

In addition, the medics would receive 35% off at Qatar Duty-Free outlets at its state-of-the-art hub, Hamad International Airport in Doha.

The promotional offer is strictly available to medical frontline professionals, according to a notice on its website.

"Eligible healthcare professions are limited to: Doctor, Medical practitioner, Nurse, Paramedic, Lab Technician, Clinical Researcher, Pharmacist, Radiologist, Anesthetist, Physician, Nurse assistant, Infection control and quality assurance personnel, Physical and occupational therapist and assistant, Diagnostic and therapeutic technician and technologist, Community health worker, EMTs, Sanitarian, Respiratory therapist," the statement read in part.
