As Nigerians began a ten-day hunger protest, a video emerged showing protesters of the End Bad Governance movement clashing with anti-protesters in Ojota, Lagos.
A group of youths was seen on the streets protesting against the nationwide demonstration. The anti-protesters held placards with the message “No Protests” written boldly.
When protesters encountered the anti-protesters, they questioned their motives for opposing the protest, which is demanding an end to bad governance for all Nigerian.
The clash did not result in any bloodshed or harm to individuals.
Meanwhile, another video showed the anti-protesters who were expected to support the ruling government, appealing for an end to hunger and hardship.
In a separate video, an anti-protester disclosed that they have been paid N5000 to participate in the counter-protest. He noted that the money would only cover for his feeding for one day.
