Arsenal continued their chase for their first Premier League title in almost two decades with an impressive 3-2 win away at Tottenham Hotspurs in the North London derby.

The Gunners took a three-goal lead in the first half before Spurs fought back with two goals.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's own goal gave the visitors an early lead on the quarter of an hour before Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz added two more goals to ensure that Mikel Arteta's side went into the break with a 3-0 lead.

Argentine defender Cristian Romero and skipper Son Heung-Min reduced the deficit in the second half, but it wasn't enough as Postecoglou's side lost ground in their race to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Reacting to Arsenal's victory, Atiku Abubakar, who is staunch Gunner took to his social media handle to congratulate the team as they push for their first title since 2004.

In a Facebook post, the PDP presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election wrote:

“Congratulations, Arsenal. The EPL title is in sight 👏👏. -AA #TOTARS”

In response to Atiku's post, a Facebook user @Cmr Dodoson Kefas Bamaiyi replied:

“Presidential election has always been in sight for you too, but we know how it always ends.”

Another user @Munjali Buba wrote: “It’s always easy to identify Arsenal fans”

@Ushie Godwin said: “Atiku, try again next season”

@Rabiu Abubakar also added: “You bottle Nigeria and you are bottling the premier. Mr bottler why”

Arsenal currently sit at the top of the Premier League with 80 points, one more than title holders Manchester City who have a game in hand.
