President-elect Biden called a Nigerian immigrant family in the United States to thank them for their support in the 2020 elections.

The family who resides in Springfield, Illinois were ecstatic as they spoke to the next president of the United States.

This comes after the family contributed $12 to the Biden campaign.

The call which lasted for more than 12 minutes pulled a comparison between Joe Biden and his predecessor, Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy's 'Destiny' will feature on the playlist for the inauguration of US President-elect Joe Biden and his Vice President-elect, Kamala Harris.

The playlist contains a total of 46 songs.

He becomes only the first Nigerian of the modern era to have a song featured on the playlist for a US presidential inauguration.

'Destiny' is the fourth song of his 'African Giant' album which earned him his first solo Grammy nomination.

The 46-track playlist was curated by Benoni Tagoe, Issa Re, and D-Nice’s audio everywhere label Radio, Naija Loaded reports.

The others on the playlist include: Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, and SZA.
