President Buhari returns to Nigeria from UK trip

President Buhari has arrived in the country after a two-week trip to the United Kingdom.

The Presidential jet touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 18:45 pm on Friday, August 14.

In July, the President traveled to the UK to attend the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) organized Global Education Summit (GES). He thereafter proceeded to have a medical checkup with his doctors.

While in the UK, the President met and played host to various dignitaries including the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. He also met with the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu.
