Four persons linked to several attacks in Anambra State have been arrested by the police in the state, according to Politics Nigeria.

The suspects including a female were arrested in the Oko community and Ekwulobia in Aguata local council of the state.

They have been linked to series of attacks on security formations, personnel, and citizens.

Politics Nigeria reports that exhibits recovered include the Biafran flag, police beret, web belts, charms, arms, and two pairs of Eastern Security Network (ESN) uniforms, among others.

The arrest was necessitated after security operatives ambushed the hoodlums who had kidnapped a civilian.

During the shootout, one of the gunmen, identified as Chinedu Ajogu a.k.a Sampolo, was gunned down. There was no casualty on the side of Nigerian security forces.

Furthermore, this news medium was told that arrests have been made in the different camps and meeting venues from where the unknown gunmen take off to carry out their nefarious activities.
