The Adamawa State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Dankombo Morris, has recorded a significant breakthrough in its ongoing efforts to rid the state of criminal elements.
On 7th June, 2025, the Command received a report from one Lamido Bello of Unguwan Faransa Gombi LGA, that his elder brother, Alhaji Dahiru of Kamsu village, was threatened by an unknown caller demanding the sum of one million naira (₦1,000,000) or risk being kidnapped
In response, the Command swiftly initiated operation in collaboration with professional hunters. During the operation, one Manu Ahmadu, 32years, was apprehended at a certain location while attempting to pick up the package he demanded to be dropped at a particular place situated at a remote site of Kamsu village, Hong local government area. In the course of effecting the arrest, the suspect attempted to disarm one of the local security agents, prompting a defensive response leading to injury that resulted as a result of minimum force used. He was immediately taken to the medical facility and he is currently responding to treatment.
