Police expose arrested Comedian Mr Macaroni, other protesters to coronavirus

A video showing how the Nigerian police dehumanized Instagram Comedian, Mr Macaroni and other #occupylekkitollgate protesters after arresting them has gone viral.

The police officers stripped the arrested protesters of their shirts and facemasks at a time when the country is facing a rise in coronavirus cases.

The comedian and the other protesters who were all sweaty were packed up in a minibus as a policeman took video of them.

Since the release of the arrest, several personalities have called on the State government to put an end to the unconstitutional action.
