Police confirms abduction of Greenfield University students

The Police Command in Kaduna State has confirmed the attack and abduction of some unspecified number of students at Greenfield University on Tuesday evening.

This was confirmed by the Command's Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Kaduna.

He, however, could not confirm the number of students arrested.

He said security operatives have been deployed to the general area for search and rescue operation, NAN reports.
