Police arrest 11 in Osogbo

The Osun State Police Command on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of 11 suspects, as hoodlums went on the rampage in Osogbo.

The Nation gathered that the hoodlums had been moving around streets at Isale-Osun area since Monday night, brandishing weapons.

A resident, who preferred anonymity, said cults have been fighting each other with weapons such as guns, clubs, cutlasses and axes at Yusuf Hussain, Ita Olokan, Oja-Oba and Gbeemu areas.

Police spokesperson Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed that six suspects were arrested with weapons yesterday, while another five suspected robbers were nabbed.
