President Bola Tinubu has appealed to Nigerians to have faith in his ability to deliver on the promises of renewed hope for the entire country.

In a broadcast shared on his Instagram page, Tinubu acknowledged the existing hardship in the country but urged citizens to look beyond the temporary pains and sacrifices and aim for a more prosperous nation.

He assured that his policies and plans currently underway will be effective. President Tinubu revealed that there was a glitch in the process of removing fuel subsidy, but he believes that things are falling into place.

Tinubu said,

“Dear Nigerians, this period may be hard on us and there is no doubt that it is tough on us but I urge you all to look beyond the temporary pains and aim at the larger picture.

All our good and helpful plans are in the works. More importantly, I know that they will work.

Sadly, there was an unavoidable lag between subsidy removal and these plans coming fully on line. However, we are swiftly closing the time gap.

I plead with you, please have faith in our ability to deliver and in our concern for your well-being.

We will get out of this turbulence and due to the measures, we have taken, Nigeria will be better equipped.”
