Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor, famously known as Mama G, has opened up on her iconic portrayals of wicked women and antagonists, describing her talent for those roles as a God-given calling to expose societal ills.

Speaking during a livestream interview with content creator Carter Efe, the actress addressed public curiosity surrounding her recurring cast as a villain or witch in classic Nollywood films.

Ozokwor revealed that her on-screen choices align with her personal principles of exposing wrongdoing and teaching moral lessons.

"I think God gave me that niche. I hate every ill because I don’t like injustice, war, and rancour. When you give me those roles, I try to bring everything into them," she explained.

The celebrated movie icon added that she carefully crafts her performances to serve as a stark warning to viewers about the inevitable consequences of bad behavior.

"If you are taking part in any of them, you have to be careful and know the end thereof, for the end justifies the means. Know what will happen to you if you live a terrible life, and know what you will gain if you are a good person," she noted.

Through her decades-long career playing intimidating mothers, antagonists, and witches, Ozokwor emphasized that her portrayals were designed not to promote malice, but to use drama as a vehicle for social instruction and moral reflection.
