Photo of pastor who died after Dunamis church collapses emerge

A Dunamis church located at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the Benue State capital has collapsed.

The incident led to the death of at least one pastor.

The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer for the Benue State Police Command, Anene Sewuese Catherine.

“Only one person has been confirmed dead for now,” she said.

According to Channels TV, the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, October 3 as the building caved in.

An eyewitness said four individuals including the deceased pastor were observing prayers at the church building before the incident occurred.

The other three individuals escaped the wreckage.

Residential buildings and electricity infrastructure around the building were affected by the collapse.

The cause of the incident is however unclear.
