Photo of Tinubu addressing an almost empty UN hall causes a stir

An almost empty UN hall An almost empty UN hall

A photo showing President Bola Tinubu delivering a speech in an almost empty hall at the 78th UN General Assembly has caused a stir.

In the viral photo, Tinubu while giving his first address on behalf of Nigeria, was seen speaking with very few people spotted in the hall.

On Tuesday, September 19, Tinubu alongside his wife and some members of his cabinet was present at the UN headquarters to deliver a speech.

However, his presence was met with an empty hall as several empty seats could be seen. Only a few people numbering about 100 were seen scattered around the hall.

As the photo hit the internet, some critics took to social media to share their thoughts.

@Belonwuedu: Nobody takes him seriously in the international community

@lifemademe: What do you want to learn from a drug lord with no identity?

@RealQueenBee__: World Leaders deliberately excused themselves not to listen to what the Drug Lord has to say.

No sane person or leader wants to associate him/herself with illegality, illegitimacy, Forgery, Crime and Criminality.

Tinubu is bringing shame home to Nigeria and to Nigerians.

Henceforth, your Green Passport will put you in more danger when you're travelling.

@megaeazy3: Lol he had to bring his own audience from Nigeria

@mayor1use: The world knows he has nothing to offer

@moreofestelle: What does he have to say that people will waste their precious time to listen to

@KhamisAbiodun: Do you want them to go and pack UGM from Anambra or Owerri so that the hall will not be empty. Only highly recognized leaders are invited. No shade.

@uwakings1: When I noticed that all agbado handles failed to post the picture of the UN hall, I knew all was not well...

What can a drug traffiker tell the world....?

@iyke_nwabuko: Lol, leaders used BATS time to make calls and use the restroom.
