Peter Obi will deny his promises to you as Biblical Peter denied Jesus - Tinubu to Obidients

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken a swipe at Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party.

Tinubu who was at Peter Obi's homes state to campaign for votes ahead of the election in February, caution Nigerians on believing the words of the former Governor of Anambra.

Speaking during his campaign rally, Tinubu warned that Peter Obi will deny the promises he made to them just as Peter in the Bible denied Jesus three times.

He said:

“Me, I am not afraid of anybody and I don't worry.

“The man who left here he calls himself Peter Obi.

“We read in the Bible that before cock crows three times, he will deny Jesus Christ.

“He denied [Jesus], so how can he keep a promise to you if he cannot keep promise to God.”

Netizens who didn't seem pleased with Tinubu's comment took to social media to call out the APC flagbearer for turning the scriptures into a joke.
