Former presidential aide Reno Omokri continues to tackle Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
In a recent post shared on his social media page, Omokri described Peter Obi as a sadist, someone who is only happy when bad things happen to Nigeria.
Omokri pointed out that when the Warri refinery was restored, Peter Obi remained silent. He also mentioned that Obi did not speak out when Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa was arrested in Finland.
The controversial social media commentator stated that Obi also refused to comment on the progress of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway construction to the Ogun border.
According to Omokri, Obi only spoke when the national grid allegedly collapsed, a claim that was later dismissed by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
Expressing his thoughts, Omokri wrote, “Warri Refinery came back to life, and Peter Obi said nothing. Simon Ekpa was arrested, and Obi did not comment. Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway construction progressed to the Ogun border, and Lamba Obi closed his mouth. But when National Grid did not collapse, Peter Obi sprang to life and lied that it did. How can a man be so energised by gbajue? Is it that this man just sits idly somewhere, patiently waiting for bad news to happen in Nigeria so he can be happy? How can you hate a country so much, yet you want to govern it?”
