Peter Obi never won 2023 election; stop being emotional – Pastor Olumide Emmanuel to Obidients

General Overseer of Calvary Bible Church, based in Idimu, Lagos State, Pastor Olumide Emmanuel, is of the belief that Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party did not win the general elections as many claim.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on March 1, 2023 announced Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the election, with Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) coming second and Peter Obi as the third.

This did not sit well with the opposition parties as they challenged the results at the courts. However, the courts dismissed the case for lack of merit and upheld Tinubu’s victory.

Speaking in a podcast with Selahmeditate, the Lagos-based pastor and motivational speaker said Obi won the election in Lagos because the crowd that voted for him was enormous.

He noted that he does not believe in President Bola Tinubu, Atiku or Obi but he believes in God as he does not put his hope in any human being.

Pastor Olumide asks Nigerians especially supporters of Peter Obi popularly known as Obidents to stop being emotional and desist from using social media as evidence.

He said;

“You’re wrong by saying Obi won the election because you’re talking from evidence that you don’t have. You are talking from emotional sentiment. Obi won Lagos; how did he win Lagos? If they rigged the election in Lagos, how did he win in Lagos?

The only way he was able to win in Lagos is because it was so overwhelming that no matter how much una do am, the crowd that voted for him was too much that he won Lagos but he did not win the election. People don’t understand the way the law works, that’s why you get angry.

As I am here now, I do not believe in anybody. I don’t believe in Tinubu, I don’t believe in Atiku, I don’t believe in Obi. I believe in God. I believe in doing the right thing because I will not put my hope in any human being. None of them is better than themselves.

You people are just being emotional for nothing. We were all there, what’s the evidence? Social media is not evidence and you’re the next generation. If you people are still having this mindset, then the future is terrible.

You people are being too emotional. You can never win a case in court. Let’s stop blaming somebody else. Everybody plays your part. When everybody plays their part, after a while, evil is not that powerful, darkness is the absence of light. Darkness does not exist anywhere.”
