Peter Obi narrates how he rejected an Abuja land given to him by Bauchi governor

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has revealed that he turned down the opportunity to own land in Abuja.

Obi, who has become the third force going into the February 25 presidential election made the revelation in a viral video sighted on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

The former Anambra governor speaking to the young audience said he was offered a land by Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed but he turned down the offer because he didn't want to own properties across the country.

His revelation was applauded by the audience as many cheered him on.

Obi also stressed that he has no need to make money because "God has given me enough"

"I have no need to make money again because God has given me enough. I was chairman in Nigeria - Fidelity Bank and I was told that I was entitled to a Mercedes but I told them I am not entitled to anything."

"I am not the richest person but I am comfortable with what I need. The present governor of Bauchi State gave me land in Abuja and I told him I don't need the land."
