Peter Obi has joined real politics, I am happy for him – Bashir Ahmad

Bashir Ahmad, former digital communications aide to former President Muhammadu Buhari, has said that Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party is joined real politics.

His comment comes following the a photo of Obi alongside some politicians belonging to the ruling All Progressives Congress at the wedding of the Deputy Senate President son’s in Kano State.

Sharing a photo of the former Anambra State Governor exchanging pleasantaries with some notable APC chieftains, including Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, who was thrilled to see him at the event alongside other politicians.

In the viral photo, Obi was flanked by Akpabio on the right and his Deputy, Barau Jibrin to the left with the Chairman of BUA Group, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu and several others behind.

Reacting to the photo, ex-Buhari’s aide tweeted:

“Peter Obi attended wedding of Deputy Senate President’s son in Kano today. Peter has just joined the real politics, I am happy for him.”
