Peter Obi condoles with Davido, Chioma

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi has sent condolence message to singer, Davido over the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

Obi asked God to grant Davido and his family the strength to be strong at this trying time.

He tweeted: “I send my sincere condolences to Davido and Chioma, over the death of their son Ifeanyi. I cannot begin to imagine the pains they are going through at the moment. May God grant them healing, strength and comfort in this trying time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.-PO"

This comes after he lost his son, Ifeanyi.

Ifeanyi had drowned in a swimming pool leading to his untimely death on Wednesday.

The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command also confirmed that a preliminary investigation is currently ongoing to unravel what led to the boy’s death.
