Peter Obi and Wike 'show love' in viral photo

The relationship between Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi is cordial.

It was on display again at the commissioning of the Nkpolu- Oroworukwu Flyover Bridge project in Rivers State.

In a photo that has since gone viral, both men were seen laughing and hugging each other at the end of the event.

Both men share a respectable relationship from Obi's time at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

During the event, Wike pledged to offer logistics support for the campaign of Peter Obi.

He also described Obi as “a very humble man” who he believes has the qualities to govern Nigeria.

Peter Obi was received by a large crowd on his arrival in Rivers State on Thursday, November 17.
