The formal announcement of the release of the manifesto by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi was applauded by loyalists of the former Anambra governor.

Since his Twitter statement officially noting its release, Nigerians on various social media platforms have been reacting differently.

Obidients, the supporters of Peter Obi have described it as Nigeria's only way out of the economic doldrums while others have punched holes into it.

As the excitement grows amongst them, some other users on Twitter have pointed out a slightly important detail worth noting.

The user with the handle, @archetypal12 has accused the Obi-Datti campaign of using an eagle's eye image of Lagos as the cover photo for his manifesto.

Using a Shutterstock image, the user wrote: "Mr aspiring President. Since you said you have done it before, kindly use the photograph of what you have done before in your final release "manifesting, manifestation, manifesto".

"No need to rush. But the coverage is the work of Asiwaju of Lagos. So you won't be promoting"

The caption of the tweet came with an image of the works Bola Tinubu and the cover page of Peter Obi's manifesto.

MyNigeria at this time couldn't confirm the claim by the user at the time of filing this report.
