Peruzzi issues official statement on rape allegation

Singer Peruzzi has issued an official statement to deny the rape allegation levelled against him by a lady on social media.

MyNigeria.com reported that a lady took to social media with a narration of how Peruzzi raped her in his house back in 2014.

She said, “In the night, he started touching me without my consent, I tried to tell him that that’s wrong and besides he has a girlfriend lying in between. So I left the room and went to sleep in the mini parlour upstairs, I had to leave the room because I wasn’t comfortable anymore".

She added that Peruzzi later came to meet her in the other room and forced himself on her.

“At that point, struggling was very stressful, you know he tore my PANT and then he did what he did, He raped me", she said.

Tweets by the singer from 2012 also show that he openly supported rape.

In reaction, Peruzzi stated that he has never raped anybody and that the tweets don't represent who he was and is today. Read below.
