Pastor Cornelius Ugwuanyi has placed a curse on any Igbo person who votes for President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

According to him, Tinubu doesn't deserve Igbo votes because his administration locked up the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

He told his congregation, “You kept my brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, in prison, and you're asking for my votes. Any Igbo man who has Igbo blood and votes for Tinubu is under a curse. Any Christian who associates with such a man, God will shame them. Release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu now."

Nnamdi Kanu is serving a life sentence in Sokoto prison for terrorism and treasonable felony.

The IPOB leader and his group are fighting for the restoration of the defunct Biafra Republic.
