Pastor Adeboye tackles TB Joshua on coronavirus

Pastor Adeboye has tackled Prophet TB Joshua on the prophecy given concerning the coronavirus pandemic.

MyNigeria.com recalls that Prophet TB Joshua in a Facebook post stated that coronavirus will come to an end after a seven days rainfall.

He stated this prior to Nigeria confirming 25 cases of the virus brought in by people who travelled into the country from the US, the UK and Italy.

“Since yesterday, when the Lord brought the revelation about the rain and that this rain will wipe away the epidemic coronavirus, I asked the Lord to make this happen in the place where the coronavirus started which is Wuhan, China.

“Right now, it is raining in Wuhan, China. The purpose of this rain is to wipe out this epidemic called coronavirus and it will continue till the end of this week", Prophet TB Joshua shared.

However, Pastor Adeboye who delivered a sermon via a live broadcast on Sunday stated that coronavirus will never go away.

“I have heard one prophet say the coronavirus will soon die. And I said ‘amen’. You know prophets are greater than pastors. I heard another prophet say the world will experience rain for seven days and (it) will wash the plague away. I said ‘amen’.

"But I am speaking with you my children. The coronavirus will certainly subside after God has removed the plague but to say it will die, let me speak in local parlance, ‘na lie’ (it is a lie),” the pastor said.
