PFN denies blacklisting certain ministers from programmes

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Lagos State, has dismissed reports (not by MyNigeria) suggesting that a communique was issued instructing churches not to invite certain ministers of the gospel to their programmes.

In a statement, Pastor Yemi Davids said as Chairman of the Lagos State chapter, "I wish to clearly state that I have not received, issued, or been informed of any such communication from the PFN, whether at the state or national level."

He said the PFN does not operate a policy of secretly excluding or blacklisting ministers, "and we remain committed to relating with all genuine servants of Christ in love and honour.

"We recognise that matters like this can be sensitive and can cause concern among believers. Our desire as a fellowship is to handle such issues with clarity, humility, and respect for all, while continuing to stand together as the Church in Nigeria.

"At a time when our nation is facing deep challenges including insecurity, kidnappings, and attacks on innocent citizens and worship-pers as we are seeing in Kwara, Kebbi, Benue and other states, our heartfelt focus as the Body of Christ is to stand together in prayer, compassion, and constructive engagement while praying for God's peace and healing across our nation."
