Oyo: Unknown gunmen kidnap LG chairman, driver

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Iganna Local Council Development Area in Oyo State, Comrade Jacob Olayiwola Adeleke.

According to Daily Post, the council boss and his driver were kidnapped on Sunday evening.

Sources who spoke to Daily Post confirmed the incident said Adeleke and his driver were kidnapped along Okeho-Ado Awaye Road.

All efforts to get reaction from the Police Spokesman, Olugbenga Fadeyi proved abortive as calls put through to his mobile phone were not answered, reports Daily Post.
