Oyetola vs Adeleke: Tribunal commences sitting

The Electional Tribunal set up to hear matters from the governorship elections in Osun has commenced sitting.

The legal teams of Osun Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola and Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke are set to slug it out at the court premises at Oke-Fia via Government House, Osogbo, Osun State.

Recall that Oyetola filed against Adeleke and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) seeking the cancellation of 749 polling units because of alleged over-voting. He wanted the tribunal to declare him as the winner.

Security operatives subjected lawyers, party members and journalists to checks.
