Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis has suffered another transfer setback after failed move to former club Watford

According to reports, talks were ongoing between the player and the club for his return to Vicarage Road.

However, the Hornets have reportedly pulled out of the deal for the 27-year-old.

Watford was considering rewarding the Nigerian international with a one-and-a-half-year deal.

The former Club Brugge striker has had two different stints with the Hornets.

Dennis became a free agent following the mutual termination of his contract with Nottingham Forest.

However, reports indicate that the club may revisit the deal when the transfer window opens in January.
