‘Our situation pass earthquake’ - Nigerians react to Buhari’s message of condolence to Turkey

Following the earthquake that occurred in Turkey on Monday, February 6, several countries have sent their well wishes to nationals of Turkey, and President Muhammadu Buhari was not left out.

In a heartfelt commiseration message to the governments and people of Turkey and Syria, President Buhari prayed and offered to help the country.

He also wished the injured and families who have lost their loved ones well in times of this severe disaster.

"As a steadfast friend to Turkey and Syria, President Buhari said Nigeria was ready to offer its full support in any way possible," Buhari said this in a statement released by his media aide, Femi Adesina.

However, some Nigerians have taken to social media to slam the president for offering to help Turkey after the earthquake disaster.

Some claim that Nigeria is suffering from more than an earthquake which he has failed to resolve as a leader.

Others ask Buhari to resolve the challenges bedeviling the nation before offering to help other countries.
