Several reactions have trailed the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex to Nigeria.

The couple are in Nigeria on a three days visit to promote the Invictus Games.

They touched down in Abuja after the Duke spent much of the week in London.

Prince Harry will meet injured service members at a military hospital after a visit to a school.

Photos that have emerged from their early engagement have gotten Nigerians talking.

The other activities include a training session for charity organisation Nigeria: Unconquered - which collaborates with the Invictus Games - as well as a reception where military families will be honoured.

The duchess is also scheduled to co-host an event of Women in Leadership with Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director General of the World Trade Organisation.

Other items on the agenda for the royals include a basketball camp with Giants of Africa, a cultural reception and a polo fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.

The trip marks their first to Africa since 2019, when in their last official visit as working royals, the duke and duchess visited South Africa, Malawi, Angola and Botswana.

It's also the first time they visit Nigeria as a couple.
