Osun security man nabbed for allegedly stealing nine air conditioners

A 25-year-old security man, Micheal Eze has been arrested by the corps of Osun State Security Network codenamed Amotekun after allegedly stealing nine air conditioners.

The Nation learnt that Eze was arrested at GRA, Osogbo capital of Osun State when he was committing the crime.

A statement by the Corps Commander of Amotekun, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi (rtd.) on Saturday confirmed that the corps arrested the suspect who was stealing air conditioners and selling them to scrap buyers.

“He stole nine air conditioners from the house where he works as a security guard.

“Eze confessed that perpetrated the act by selling the stolen items to his Hausa scrap customers. He has been handed over to the Director of State Security Service(DSS) for subsequent interrogation and prosecution.”
